Foxy is a home bred bitch, she is out of our working/pet bitch Hercwood Aisla of Wilarklodge, Kess, Kess is a beutiful quality bitch and has bloodlines to match, going back to Drakeshead and Sandylands and include quite a few winners in both field trialling and showing. On her mothers side she goes back to SH CH Keysun Krispin of Bondella , SH CH; Sandylands Sonnet of Konoboly and CH Sandylands Mark. On Kess's fathers side she has Lakedown Hopper, FTCH; Birdbrook Arrow of Craigfeling, FTCH; Glenbriar Solo are just a few of her pedigree.
Foxy is by a proven working dog, Pant Y Fedwen Buster, who was a regular worker on commercial shoots. Buster has been a regular entry in the Game keepers Class in Crufts and is also closely related to a recent Andrex puppy.
Foxy was the last live puppy to be born and was the darkest of the
yellows, she follows both her parents and siblings she has an excellent
temperament and is very loyal, she is mostly a family pet and spends
most of her day with us round the horses and our little boy who was
born in August 2007. Like her mother, Foxy has only had a limited
amount of training, she’s been out on the Monachty Mansion shoots
and has a quick to learn temperament and is a joy to have around.
As Foxy & Kess had been worked on official commercial shoots they
was eligible to compete in the B.A.S.C Gamekeepers Class @ Crufts
2008.
We took both her and her mother Kess up to compete. This
was a totally new experience for both us and the dogs we were totally
amazed and thrilled when Foxy won her class of 30 Labrador Retriever Bitches and she was awarded the Joint Aid
Trophy for best Labrador
Bitch.
